About Me

‘A diet of Asterix and Tintin books, between cow milkings in my youth, led to a Bachelor of Visual Arts majoring in Illustration at Griffith University, Brisbane, Australia.

Post-university led to a backpacking/graphic art stint for ITV Channel 4 in the UK, then animation with Walt Disney Animation Australia where I worked on most Disney 2D features that have a ‘2’ in their title. To complete the circle, it was back to Brisbane.

‘T.H.’, the sign-off on my cartoons, stands for Tackhead. A parental-administered haircut to a naïve, trusting 10-year-old, gone wrong.

The hair has grown back – fortunately – but the nickname stuck.’

All commissions accepted.  There are varying price structures in accordance with the complexity of any particular illustration/cartoon/caricature.  Email, Facebook message, text or phone (see the contact page for details) for all quotes.  Or advice.  Or to chew the fat.  Please!  My ‘work colleagues’, my cats Mango and Catsby, aren’t the best conversationalists.
